On October 26, 2025, 19 Theravada Buddhist monks began walking. Barefoot. From Fort Worth, Texas to Washington D.C., covering 3,700 kilometers (2,300 miles) to carry a message of peace.

Walking with them is Aloka, a rescued stray dog with an unmistakable mark: a white heart on his forehead. It's not a metaphor. It's real.
